A card shower has been planned for Savannah Jones who will celebrate her 100th birthday Sunday, Nov. 8.
Savannah is a long-time Savanna resident, moving here from Mississippi in 1942. She was born Nov. 8, 1920, in Mississippi.
She is the mother of two daughters, Donna Jones-Ashley of Angier, N.C., and Agnes Jones of Savanna, and son, Nathan (deceased).
She also has six grandchildren (two deceased), 14 great-grandchildren (one deceased), and four great-great-grandchildren.
