The 15th Annual Auxiliary Christmas Bake Sale will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Mount Carroll Community House, corner of Main and Center Streets. All proceeds will benefit the residents of Allure of Mount Carroll.
The bake sale is part of the many activities held during the Mount Carroll Chamber of Commerce Christmas Walk.
An assortment of homemade items and holiday favorites will be available, including a variety of breads, cookies, cakes, pies, coffee cakes, fudge, candies, peanut brittle and more.
Free coffee and cookie will be offered to all shoppers.
For more than 49 years, the Auxiliary has provided support through volunteerism and fundraising efforts for the benefit of the residents living at Allure of Mount Carroll, formerly known as the Good Samaritan Center. The Auxiliary meets monthly at the center and is open to all interested parties.
"We invite all community members to join us as we work together to enrich the lives of the residents at the center," said Joyce Daehler, Auxiliary president.
Allure of Mount Carroll has been awarded a Four-Star rating by the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid and provides excellence and high standards of compassionate care continuing the provision of more than 49 years of quality service to the community.
