Ewers Garage honors CC law enforcement

Ewers Garage in Milledgeville is celebrating its 100th year of continuous operation in 2021 and in conjunction with the milestone anniversary, the family business last Wednesday, March 17, purchased 74 ice cream cakes from the Mount Carroll Dairy Queen and presented them to the 74 full-time and part-time Carroll County law enforcement officers as a way to “Back the Blue.” Todd Ewers is the grandson of William Ewers, who purchased a part interest in Homer Nicholas’ Model T Ford Sales in 1921, and son of second-generation owner Tom Ewers, who joined his father in 1958, later selling to his son, Todd, in 1995.
