The Savanna Chamber of Commerce’s annual Christmas Walk scheduled for Friday, Nov. 27, will look a little different this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Participating businesses will require shoppers to wear masks when visiting stores.
Santa Claus will be at The Answer with treats for kids.
Lars Colgan will provide wagon rides down Main Street.
The Festival of Trees at the Savanna Museum and Cultural Center opens at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, and visitors are encouraged to stop in during the Christmas Walk.
One of the highlights of the Christmas Walk is the silent auction. This year the Chamber has created a Virtual Silent Auction. Guests may check out and bid on items from their phones and computers.

The Silent Auction continues Nov. 23-27.
There will be no cookies sale or bingo sheet this year due to the pandemic.
The Savanna Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the window-decorating contest and this year’s theme is “Let’s Light Up Main Street.”
Jo-Carroll Energy will be lighting the large Christmas tree on their property at the corner of Chicago Avenue and Main Street.
Due to Covid restrictions, Christmas Walk plans are subject to change.
