Children's music and crafts, free movie nights and bag lunch events are marking the February opening of Bridges on Main Street in downtown Savanna.

The Great River Outreach, a faith-based community service group, is the new GRO Community Resource Center consisting of several parts.

Bridges of Carroll County, 417 Main St., Savanna, is a safe gathering place to learn, share life experiences and enjoy life together.

Next door at 415 Main St. is the Classy Closet, opening in the spring, provides a boutique atmosphere for finding that special garment or treasure you have been looking for and other clothing necessities for the whole family.

Also next door at 411 Main St. starting in the spring, the Table, supported by Golden Meals, has a new home and continues to have noon-time meals and a variety of Fit For Life events.
