Mount Carroll Library project moving forward
Completion of the Mount Carroll District Library’s $2.6 million new addition and expansion project is moving steadily forward, with an anticipated completion date of this spring, Board of Trustees President Laurel Bergren said Friday, Feb. 3. Construction, which began May 2, 2022, is adding 7,289 square feet of library space. Installation of an elevator is expected to begin soon and will take about a month to complete.
