MILLEDGEVILLE—The 64th annual Carroll County Fair is scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday, Aug. 9-13, at Schell Park just east of Milledgeville, offering grandstand and a variety of attractions.

Fair-goers will have a chance to see and hear country musicians Dylan Scott and RaeLynn when they take over the grandstand stage on Friday, Aug. 12.

Scott’s performance begins at 7:30 p.m. The fair’s website describes the 25-year-old Scott as “an old soul with a young spirit … a dreamer who imagined himself following his father's path to Nashville … a man's man with a lifelong love for hunting and country music … and a heartthrob whose wide smile and deep-voiced Louisiana drawl have already turned many a woman's head.”

Scott has released singles “Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy” and “Mmm, Mmm, Mmm” and is working on an album.

Racheal Lynn Woodard, better known as RaeLynn, follows Scott on the main stage starting at 9 p.m. The 22-year-old country and country pop singer appeared on season two of “The Voice,” advancing to the quarterfinals before being eliminated.

In 2014 she received the distinction of “highest charting debut single by a solo female artist” for that year, with her Top 20 hit, “God Made Girls.” The song received Gold certification from RIAA and skyrocketed to number one on the iTunes Country Songs chart. The music video garnered more than 13 million views and was nominated for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards.

RaeLynn’s follow-up, “For A Boy,” is available on iTunes. She is featured in the song “Buzzin” from Blake Shelton’s new album. The Texan has toured on Miranda Lambert’s “Certified Platinum” tour and on the Rascal Flatts’ Riot Tour 2015.

Pre-sale grandstand and track wristband tickets for the Aug. 12 concert are available at the Commercial Building on the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, and from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8.

Tickets are $10 for grandstand seating and $20 per wristband for track seating.

Grandstand tickets must be purchased in person at the Commercial Building. No phone calls or mail purchases will be accepted for grandstand seating.

Track wristband tickets also can be purchased by mail. Include full cost for number of wristbands, your name and phone number. Make check payable to Carroll County Fair. Mail to: Carroll County Fair, P.O. Box 548, Milledgeville, Ill., 61051.

The fair is featuring a new Progressive Agriculture Safety Day on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Children can also visit the new carnival from Shortline Amusements all week long. Tickets will be $1 each, with children’s rides costing three tickets and older rides costing four tickets.

Kids Days at the carnival, when wristbands are $20, will be 1-5 p.m. Aug. 10 and Aug. 13, and Kids Night is 5-10 p.m. Aug. 11.
