The Mount Carroll Ministerial Association’s annual Food and Gift Drive will once again distribute baskets to families and senior citizens in the community who are in need during the upcoming holidays.
Food donations for the baskets may be given through local churches or dropped off curbside at the United Methodist Church in Mount Carroll between 4-6 p.m. on Nov. 30-Dec. 1.
Gift tags for the baskets will be available after Nov. 21 through local churches and on the Giving Tree located inside the Mount Carroll Pharmacy.
Wrapped gifts can then be dropped off curbside at the United Methodist Church, 216 S. Main St., between 4-6 p.m. on Dec. 7-8. Several of these tags provide clothing for children under 18 in our community.
Financial donations for the Food and Gift Drive can be sent to the Mount Carroll Ministerial Association, P.O. Box 132, Mount Carroll, IL, 61053.
