PORT BYRON—Rebecca "Becky" J. Zdziarski, 72, of Port Byron, formerly of Savanna, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at home, surrounded by her daughters.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Becky was born July 14, 1949, in Arizona, the daughter of Glenn D. and Mary C. (Thompson) Foote. She married David Orlandini in July of 1970. Later she was married to Anthony Zdziarski from July 25, 1987, until he passed July 17, 2018.

Becky loved reading and writing as she majored in Literature in college. She was an avid writer throughout her life and had several publications. She also had a green thumb, but most importantly she was a devoted and selfless mother.

Becky is survived by her children, Kelly (Glenn) Martin of Ft. Worth, Texas, David (Katie) Orlandini of Maryville, Tenn., Lena (Brian) Krier of Port Byron, and Rachel (Matthew) Anderson of Baraboo, Wis.; grandchildren, Amy (Derek) West, Zach (Merissa) Martin, Paige (Andre) Velasquez, Austin, Zach, Alexandra, Ethan "Vinny", Abram and Jude; great-grandchildren, Lena, Roz, Maiya, Will, Zyan and Mason.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and a brother, Glenn Foote.

The family would like to thank University of Iowa Holden Cancer Center, Katie Sowder and Hammond Henry Clinic, the staff of Home Instead Home Health Care — especially Becky's favorite helper Lori, and the staff at Compassus Hospice Care.
