FORRESTON—Debra Ann Bolen, 62, of Forreston, formerly of Mount Carroll, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, in her home after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at the Mount Carroll United Methodist Church with Pastor Donna Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at the church.

Deb was born Dec. 10, 1956, in Savanna, the daughter of Ralph and Florence (Kruse) Moshure. Deb married Brian Bolen on Aug. 10, 1996.

Deb was a valued employee at Kelly Springfield/Titan Tire in Freeport where she was employed for 41 years.

She was an active member of the Freeport chapter of ABATE and also was a member of the Tri-County Gun Club.

Deb loved spending time with her family, especially watching her grandkids play sports and all their extra-curricular activities. She was also looking forward to the arrival of her first great-grandchild next month.

Deb also was an avid animal lover, from her horses, dogs, cats and the love of wildlife, owls and wolves. She also enjoyed riding her custom purple Sportster motorcycle until she no longer could.

Deb's family includes her husband, Brian of Forreston; daughter, Cathy Zink of Ridott; son, Richard (Jennifer) Zink of Forreston; three grandsons, Tanner Hatheway, Trevor Hatheway and Jayden Zink; one granddaughter, MacKenna Zink; two brothers, Larry (Karen) Moshure of Freeport and David (Lisa) Moshure of Erie; one sister, Jane Shaw of Mount Carroll; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
