Feb. 3, 1960 – Feb. 15, 2021

ROCKFORD—Patrick E. Hanna went to his heavenly home Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at his home in Rockford.

Patrick's story begins on Feb. 3, 1960, the oldest child to Howard, (Pat) Hanna and Connie, (Strauch) Halvorsen.

Patrick would spend his childhood, grow up and make lifelong friends in Milledgeville. He graduated high school in 1978 and spent many years employed as a security guard, retiring in 2018.

He was an avid sports fan, loved listening to music, attending car shows, and was known for telling people to, "Have a Blessed Day." Patrick was a faithful man who loved the Lord, his family, friends and his church.

Patrick was greeted in heaven by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his sister Kathryn Hanna, and his stepfather, Alan Halvorsen.

Patrick will be greatly missed by his mother, Connie Halvorsen; his father, Howard (Pat) Hanna; stepmother, Betty Hanna; brother, Adam Hanna; sister, Jenni Durlacher; nieces, Georgia and Reece; nephews, Josh, Seth and Cale; and many cousins and friends.

Inurnment will take place in the spring at Bethel Cemetery in Milledgeville, followed by a celebration of Patrick's life.
