SAVANNA—Sheryl Taylor, 60, formerly of Savanna, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis.
A private funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Savanna. Visitation will take place from 3-6 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, as well as Saturday, June 27, from 9:30- 10:15 a.m. Cremation rites will follow, with burial at Savanna Spring Lake Cemetery.
Sheryl was born April 7, 1960, in Savanna, the daughter of Michael and Sandra (Hall) Podolski. She graduated from Savanna High School with the Class of 1977. She then began her career in banking, working as a Mortgage Loan Processor for several banks over multiple decades.
Sheryl was a smart and ambitious woman. She filled herself and others with positivity and spontaneity, and simply put, just loved life! Those who loved her will always remember her beautiful smile. Sheryl adored her family, and certainly had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
Sheryl will be dearly missed by her daughter, Taylor Schley, of Algoma, Wis.; two grandchildren, Landon Villers and Elise Cowdery; two sisters, Renee (William) Stebbins and Tammy (Tony) Deutscher, both of Thomson; a brother, Carey (Yolanda) Podolski; and many extended family members and friends.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Sandra.
