Dave's Place in Lanark hosted a dart tournament Saturday, Nov. 5, to kick off Toys for Tots fundraising events this holiday season. Fifty-two people competed and many more enjoyed the afternoon. Jacqui Borgmann along with Ron and Marlene Knight organized this successful event which raised over $2,000 for the campaign, and they also collected many new toys. Thank you for your amazing support, you all went above and beyond to guarantee a happy Christmas for Carroll County kids.
Next up will be a Quarter Auction Saturday, Nov. 12, at Sandburr Run in Thomson. Doors will open at 11 a.m. with the auction at noon. Bring your quarters and get ready for a fun time for the whole family. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Mark your calendars for Bingo Night at Lake Carroll on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 26, at 1 p.m. TnT's Roadhouse will hold a pool tournament. The Nest at Palisades Cabins will host Santa and lots of holiday fun on Dec. 9, 10, and 11, 5-9 p.m.
