My dad and I recently visited the Savanna Museum to see the two new exhibits:
•Savanna memorabilia and artifacts.
•The newest permanent exhibit honoring Carroll County's Florence Nightingale — Helen Scott Hay.
This remarkable woman traveled the world helping create a profession called Nursing. Stop in and enjoy the videos and unbelievable displays and learn about a Carroll County citizen who made such a difference in the world!
The museum is open to the public Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m., through Labor Day, or call for an appointment at 815-275-1958 or 815-275-5955.
