Dear Editor:
The Jean Ferris Events Committee of the Savanna Historical Society wishes to thank everyone who participated with the 2022 Festival of Trees at the Museum.
Whether you were a sponsor of the event by displaying a full-size tree, a table top tree, or a creative design (over 55 entries this year!) or, you gave support by providing a silent auction item, giving financial support, and buying raffle tickets, all of you are what make this a great community event.
And thank you to the many citizens of Savanna and also area communities for taking the time to come and enjoy the beautiful, creative display of trees.
Also, a special note of appreciation to all volunteers who worked many hours in preparation for the event and to the Savanna Times-Journal for generously providing newspaper coverage.
We look forward to seeing you all at 406 Main St. throughout the year, for upcoming 2023 concerts and programs at the Savanna Museum and Cultural Center.
