The Drama Club of West Carroll High School will present the second annual variety show “Thunder Pride” from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in the high school gymnasium.
Tickets are $3 and donations will also be accepted at the door. The variety show is the Drama Club's main fundraiser.
“This is a show dedicated to highlight the talented students and staff of West Carroll High School,” said WCHS choir director Robert McFletcher. “Each will bring out the best and brightest stars at West Carroll High School. Acts range from magic, acting and singing, and participants have been working hard to put on a great show for the community.”
Charlie Cross, a senior who will have the lead role in West Carroll’s winter musical "The Wedding Singer" said, "I have an emotional connection [to the variety show] because it helped me through a rough time and established me as a musician and set me at the level of my peers."
Amber Wright, also a senior, said, "I am super shy around people and so it gave me a chance to show a side that others don't get to see on a daily basis."
Added McFletcher, “This a great opportunity to support the up and coming stars of tomorrow, today. We cannot wait to see you all soon.”
